There are some moments in life that feel straight out of a movie, and Rob’s proposal to Rebecca was one of them. Visiting Sydney from the USA, Rob had planned a very special moment during their first vacation to Australia. A sunset proposal at Lady Macquarie’s Chair with the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House as the backdrop—it was just perfect.
We timed it just right, catching the golden-hour glow. Rebecca thought they were just out for a romantic stroll before dinner at the harbour. I discreetly awaited their arrival and captured the moment with the breathtaking background. When Rob dropped to one knee, a small crowd gathering to watch the sunset, held their breath—then erupted in cheers when Rebecca said 'Yes!' Strangers clapped and cheered—the joy in the air was palpable - it was absolutely magical. ♡
Afterward, we did a some photos capturing their pure joy and laughter with Sydney’s stunning harbour view behind them. But what really made the photos special? Their love and happiness shining through. Neither of them could stop smiling.
Rob and Rebecca - thank you for letting me be part of your story! I can't wait to share the rest of the images with you really soon. ♡
